I’m Saúl, BSc and MSc in Computing Engineering. What I like doing is sports, reading, meeting friends, playing videogames and, of course, programming.
In terms of reading, I enjoy reading text books about computing, investments, personal development and phsycology. The last book I’ve read focuses on non-verbal communication, titled Convence sin abrir la boca. As social living beings, we are introduced to the art of communication from an early age, predominantly through verbal menas. However, people can use words to mask their true thoughts, making our body language an unguarded channel of truth. This insightful book offers strategies for interpreting body language, enabling readers to uncover genuine thoughts and feelings.
Although Computing Engineering is immense, my focus now is set into learning videogames programming. In this field, I’ve done some projects for the University and I’ve learned Unity and Unreal Engine from some online courses. I’ve also learned the basics of Godot and made a simple 2D, mobile game all made with circles where you have to avoid enemies shots for as long as you can.
I’m currently looking for a full time job in videogames programming while working on a personal project that can be checked in the portfolio section under the name of Tokennect. Furthermore, I’m learning about real-time rendering as it’s one of the most importants parts of a game engine.
